Greystone Elementary School

Greystone Robotics Team is a club of fifth graders that meets one day a week at the end of the day during recess in the second semester. This club uses Vex robots. All students learn to build and program their robots to do certain challenges designed to help students learn the basics of programming, such as going a certain distance, turning, using sensors, and following a black line. Once they have mastered these basics, they move on to conditional programming using if/ then programs.  The students can apply to join this club when the applications are given out early in the second semester.
